解读理念
根据本课的文体特点,重点传授阅读技巧,采取分段阅读的方式进行教学,让学生在阅读技巧的指导下掌握全文,面向全体学生,关注英语工具性和人文性的统一;尊重学生,充分调动学生学习的主动性和积极性;鼓励学生实施自主、合作、学习,强化语言交际在语言学习中的作用;注重培养学生形成积极向上的生活态度。
学情分析
八年级学生有较高的求知欲和表现欲,希望自己的表现得到同学和老师的认可。特别是对他们熟悉的话题,学生的爱好会更浓。本单元的音乐话题正符合学生的这一心理特点,所以我设计各种任务型的课堂活动让学生人人都能参与活动,增强他们的英语学习积极性和学习自信心。
教材分析
内容标准
语言技能:本节课主要注重培养学生的阅读能力,为了达到帮助学生通过各种技巧性阅读来准确了解文章的目的,我设计了pre-reading,while-reading 和after-reading 三个阅读环节,并据此分别设计教学任务。通过 the title和topic sentences 快速浏览文章寻找题目和主题句,通过key words和summary了解文章细节,明确阅读目的。通过mind map整体把握文章,达到阅读目的。

情感态度:让学生在活动中了解了美国乡村音乐的历史和情感,培养学生的文学鉴赏能力,陶冶情操,让学生学会享受音乐,享受生活。
