Producing It's time to reportGood morning, teachers and classmates,
I am delighted to be here to talk to you about Chinese wushu. We Chinese are always trying to get wushu into the Olympics. I’ll briefly share our views with you.
Chinese wushu has a long history. It is both a contemporary(现代的) sport and a traditional method of self-defense. Wushu is widely recognized as an effective means of keeping fit and it is suitable for everyone.sample In the past few years, the popularity of wushu in China has been increasing. Other nations, including the United States, are now beginning to develop more and more people for this ancient art.
Wushu has its own international association. In 1990 the International Wushu Federation is created to promote worldwide competition and was accepted by the International Olympic Committee in 1999. It already has 86 member countries and regions now, so it has possessed the conditions of the entry of the Olympic Games. As is reported, wushu is developing quickly. In a meeting, the President of the IOC said, “ The biggest problem is how to make wushu enter into the Olympic Games if the scale of the games is not expanded,” but he said, “ I am happy to say that the most difficult problem can be solved, and that there are many difficulties for wushu to enter the Olympic Games, but it is hopeful.”
My dear classmates, let’s look forward to seeing Chinese wushu entering the next Olympic Games. Join us in wishing it a big success!
Thank you. Now, would anyone like to ask a question?
