Unit 3 Robots
本单元主要讲Robots。通过”What can a robot do?”来巩固前面所学reading部分的知识,并通过robots可以做很多事情来导入今天的robot show,展示一系列图片,让学生对本单元更有浓厚的兴趣,为下面的读写听等任务做好铺垫。与此同时,通过图片欣赏的方式导入下一阶段的内容。
【知识目标】
1.学会从一个海报上提取重要信息
2.学会适当的听的技巧与方法同学听录音来获取重要的信息,完成填空。
3.学会although, unless, so that三种连词的用法。
【能力目标】
学会小组合作,提高灵活运用用简便英语在生活中处理常见的电话投诉或者处理其他小问题的能力。

通过对本课的学习,学生能够对日常使用英语产生浓厚的兴趣,喜爱并善于运用语言来表达自我的感受。

Show some pictures of robots and talk about it.

Step 2 Pre- listening
1)Show the poster of Part A, read and answer questions:
1.How long will the exhibition be held?
2.Where will the exhibition be held?

2)Read the poster “International Robot Exhibition”

Step 3. While-listening
Task 1:
1.Read through the notes and fill the blanks that you can according to the poster.
2.Students listen to the tape twice and complete the notes.
