【评价活动方案】
在阅读前,通过观看视频和通过插图对文本信息的预测,对学生参与行为即时进行口头评价,评价目标3。
在阅读过程中,通过运用预测、略读、扫读、思维导图等阅读策略和运用回答问题、填空、完成思维导图等具体的阅读任务来推动文本阅读的顺利完成,评价目标1,2和3。
通过以海报形式的拓展写作和品读诗歌,评价目标4。
【阅读活动设计】
I. Pre-reading:
Task 1: Read the aims and check the answers on your learning paper in group
Lead the Ss to finish the preview part.
Task 2: Watch a video about animals around the world.
Pair work:What animals can you see? Where are they from?
Lead the Ss to speak out the animals and the countries: pandas , China, lions, South Africa, koalas, Australia, elephants, Thailand.
Task 3: Show the picture of the passage. Get the Ss to guess what the passage is about.
Help Ss use the reading tip: The picture can help us to know the topic.
(设计意图:齐读目标可以让学生清楚本节课的重难点。核对导学案中预习部分的答案,可以让学生熟悉生词和短语,为文本阅读扫除障碍。我根据文章内容和前几节课所学知识,制作了微视频用来导入新课,起到承上启下的作用。同时导入本文的图片,让学生猜测文章话题,引出阅读策略。)

Task6: Careful reading:
1. Read Para 1 and answer the questions.

每个问题回答之后适当补充相应的文化扩展。如:泰国的地理位置、泰国的形状像一头大象、泰国的第一面国旗。
(设计意图:细节阅读,训练学生根据关键词获取信息的能力,问题答案与文本主题呼应,帮助学生获取文本主要脉络,扩宽视野,增长。)
2.Read Para 2, introduce the elephant.

Task 7: Retell the passage according to the mind-map:
(1)Ss try to finish the mind-map by themselves. And then retell the part of the passage in groups of six. They each can choose several sentences and one by one to ready to show us in groups. They should complete the passage in groups.
(2)Retell with the video.
(设计意图:训练学生根据思维导图理解文章结构,根据信息提示能完整表达语意, 并能运用关键词归纳概括文本大意。手绘软件制作的复述视频形式新颖,并且很好地总结了文本内容。)
III. Post-reading:
Task 8:Watch a video.
