【教学目标】
知识与能力:
1. 学习并掌握下列单词:
the day before yesterday, the day after tomorrow, weekday, look after,
2. 能掌握以下句型:
1) - What's today? - It's Monday.
2) - Can you play tennis with me? - Sorry, I can't. I …
3.能综合运用can来表达邀请,能有礼貌地拒绝别人的邀请。
4.能掌握听力技巧,学会抓关键词解决听力问题。
过程与方法:
通过反复听、说、读、写等活动全面训练,掌握目标语言。利用多次的小组讨论,交流,写作环节将所学语言进行知识输出的训练,提升学生的综合运用语言的能力。再利用总结,教师寄语的方式使珍惜时间,规划时间的主题得以升华,进一步强化对学生的情感、态度、价值观的培养。加深对文本的理解,提升学生的语言综合运用能力。
情感、态度、价值观:
通过本课的学习,帮助学生学会人际交往的基本常识,学会有礼貌地邀请别人以及回答别人的邀请的方式。使学生养成规划时间的好习惯,促使学生提高珍惜时间的意识。
【教学重点】:
1) 掌握本课时出现的生词及表达方式。
2) 进行听力训练,提高综合听说能力。
3)阅读短文,获得相关信息,提高学生们的综合阅读能力。
【教学难点】:
如何有礼貌地邀请和回应别人的邀请。
【教学方法设计】
根据教学内容需要及学生的学情分析,本节课采用听说训练、分组讨论,写作训练等方法。依据《初中英语课程标准》的教学要求,英语课堂教学紧紧围绕以学生为主体,调动学生学习英语的积极性,激发学生学习兴趣,使学生主动地参与学习过程,改变学生的学习方式,形成“学生是课堂的主人,教师是课堂的引导者”的课堂教学形式,让学生在快乐中学习,在合作中学习,在学习中提升语言的综合运用能力。
【教学媒体设计】
新课标提出,要“在课程内容选择、教学方式方法改革和教学评价中,要充分考虑现代信息技术的影响,为发展学生自主学习意识和能力创造适宜的环境。”因此,本节课通过课件设计了以听英文歌曲的方式导入课题,创设了语境,激发了学生的学习兴趣。然后设计重点突出,形式多样,颜色鲜艳的PPT,体现学习重点,激发学生学习积极性。

Leading-in
播放英文歌曲,学生听歌,跟唱。

T: Yes, the days of the week. Do you know how many days there are in a week?

T: What are they? What is the first day of the week? And what is the last day of the week?
Ss answer and show the words.

1.Ask the students :
What day is it today? What is the date today?
2.If I want to ask the date and the day, what should I say? Show the sentence ,ask the students to read together.
3.Show three groups of sentences and ask the class to discuss in groups and summarize the structure. Then practice the sentences in pairs.

IV. Writing

V. Listening
1. Ask the class to look at the picture in 1d. Then listen to the tape and circle Yes or No.

VI. Pair work
Work in pairs. One is Andy and the other is Vince. Andy, invite Vince to play tennis. Ask Ss to practice the conversations in pairs.

1. The teacher show a weekly plan. Ask the students to read through the plan.
