学习 目标 By the end of the lesson, the students are expected to1. Consolidate listening skills: predicting before listening, listening for specific information and taking notes. 2. Talk about ways of saving water by using words (dripping, running, tap, shower, waste, fix ) and sentence pattern(by doing/not doing...) 3. Reflect on habits of using water and make suggestions on saving water.
重点 To talk about ways of saving water by using new words.
难点 To use the sentence pattern to express how to save water: We can save water by (not) doing...

Play the recording again and ask students to fill in the blanks. 3)Play the recording again and ask students to read after it and judge if these pictures are about saving water or wasting water. Speaking Ask students to make imperative sentences according to the pictures. Ask students to make new sentences by combing given sentences. We can save water by(not)doing... Ask students to practise dialogues in pairs. How can we save water? We can save water by(not) doing...Post-task activitiesDiscussing Ask students to work in groups and talk about how to save water in Huating School. Group show about their ideas. Watch and video answer the questions. Learn the new words. Listen to the recording and number the pictures. Listen to the recording and fill in the blanks.
