Recently, our class had a heated discussion about whether the game bridge should be listed as an optional course in high school.
Some are in favour of the idea. They say playing bridge can develop a taste for cards and broaden their horizons. Meanwhile, it is good for team spirit. However, others are against it. They say the rules of bridge are so complex that they will be too much of a burden for students. What’s worse, sitting for a long time when playing is bad for one’s health.
In my opinion, interest is the best teacher. Bridge can be listed as an optional course in high school as long as there are students who are interested in it.
