It’s the earth, which is called the water planet.
It’s our home planet, so we have the duty to

Only a little(12.02%)
Not at all (4%)
Some (14.75%)
Very well (69.4%)

Never (4.92%)
Sometimes(36.07%)
Often(59.02%)
Listening and thinking: Huang Ting’s report
According to my survey, I can draw a conclusion that most of the students in our school know about low-carbon lifestyle and its importance, but what they have done and known about are not enough. Many students are willing to do small things around them, but they are not very active and don’t know what they can do clearly. Therefore a discussion about how to take action is necessary.
Discussion (group work): A low-carbon life means?a kind of lifestyle in which people do their best to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emission, but what small things can we do as a senior high school student to lead a low-carbon life?
How to save water at home and at school? (Group1)
How to save electricity at home and at school? (Group2)
How to choose proper means of transportation (Group3)
What other small things can you do to reduce pollution and waste? (Group4)
List as many things that we should or we could do as you can and the group who list the most is the winner today.
Model1: Every drop of water is precious. We can save it in many ways.
1.Wash clothes by hand three times a month.
2. Remember to turn off water taps when we are not using them
3.Take a short-time shower with a low-flow showers.
4.Don’t flush the toilet very often
…
What is a low-carbon life?
What can we do to leave a low-carbon life?
3. Small things can make a big difference. Let’s act now!
Summary
Homework:
Finish a written proposal on low-carbon life
Only by taking good care of our earth today will it be more beautiful tomorrow.
Remember: Every little contribution counts.
Thanks for your attention!
