析:情态动词could 应接动词原形,此句中的不定式to似乎应去掉,但实际上,此处的could 后省去了原形动词do,以避免重复,不定式to save the boy’s life为目的状语。3.1) He told his sister to try a second time.

析:序数词前一般应加定冠词,此句中的不定冠词 a 似乎应改为 the,但实际上,序数词前也可加不定冠词,表示泛指,意为“又一,再一”(another)。5. 1) His expression suggests that he is satisfied with

析:动词suggest后接宾语从句时,从句的谓语应用虚拟语气形式即(should)+动词原形,意为“建议”,此句中的is似乎应改为 be, 但实际上,此处的suggest意为 “表明;暗示”,宾语从句的谓语应用陈述语气形式。4.1) Such little children can’t carry the stone.

析:可数名词复数或不可数名词前的形容词为 many ,few, much ,little 时,应用so来修饰,而不用 such,此句中的 such似乎应改为 so ,但实际上,此处的little不表示“少”而是表示“小”。怎样做好短文改错题 高考短文改错通常是一篇小文章,一般每句不超过25个字,共计150词左右。题材贴近生活,多为考生所熟知。
1)其形式为说明文、短文、故事,也有书信等,具有很强的实用性。
2)其错误为语法错误和逻辑错误两种;
3)其的目的在于测试学生判断、发现、纠正语篇中语言错误的能力以及考查学生的语篇中综合运用英语的准确性。

一般来说,短文的内容相对简单,结构也不太复杂,但由于测试点覆盖面广,层次多,涉及的是考生容易忽略甚至是在平时写作过程中常犯的错误,所以令好多考生对短文改错题难以下手。因此,短文改错题的最大难点是找错误点,只要能准确判断错误所在,改错自然就不成问题了。
短文改错考点归纳1.新短文错误设置形式大致分为三类:错一词(—)、
多一词( )、少一词(∧)。往往为 8(错):1(多): 1(少)
2.短文改错考点范围虽然很广,但万变不离其宗,总是涉及基础知识的两方面:语法错误和逻辑错误。短文错误类型主要有:
(1)主谓不一致
(2)人称前后有矛盾或从句代词错用;
(3)固定短语搭配有误;
(4)名词单复误用;
(5)形容词和副词混淆;
(6)动词时态、语态不正确
(7)行文逻辑错误(包括连词使用不恰当)
(8)非谓语动词的误用;
(9)冠词误用或多冠词或少用冠词;
