1.短文改错材料的长度约110词，句子在10个左右。从体裁上看，以记叙文和应用文为主，兼顾说明文和议论文。
2. 短文改错通常从词法、句法和行文逻辑三个角度设题，考查考生在语篇中综合运用英语的能力。

word二.短文改错的考察方式和改错的正确格式：从错误比例上看:一般是：1：1：8 （多，缺，错）三. 短文改错坚持“四项基本原则”
改动处以最少为原则，要求每句中最多有两处错误。
实词以改变词形为原则，不能改变实词的词义，更不能随意增删。
虚词以添加或删除为原则，历年高考题中需要添加或删除的地方差不多有2个。
以保持句子愿意不变为原则。应针对文中的用词错误、语法错误、逻辑错误加以改正，不应更改作者的愿意。
四：解题步骤1. Go through the whole passage to get a general idea . (浏览全文，掌握大意）2. Read the passage sentence by sentence and find the grammar mistakes.（分句阅读，逐句找错） 3. Read the passage again, and check your answers.

Since I was a kid, I’ve considered different job I would like to do. First, I wanted to be a fireman, whose uniform looked so coolly.
