教学过程
Step 1. Vocabulary
1. Show some pictures, ask the students to look at the pictures, then talk something about the pictures.
2. Introduce the new words.
3. Make use of the new words to make a present continuous tense.
Step 2. Before reading
Match the words and expressions from the box with the pictures and say what the people are doing.

at this moment意思是“现在，此刻”常与一般现在时连用，也可写作at the moment，近义词为now。for a moment 意思是“片刻, 一会儿”, 表示一小段持续的时间。
2.Some are having afternoon tea at home or having a drink. afternoon tea 意思是 “下午茶, 午后茶休”。
3. They’re waiting for buses and running for trains.
wait 意思是 “等待，等候”，是不及物动词。
当其后面跟宾语时，一定要加介词for。
wait for后面可直接加名词作宾语:
wait for sb./sth.，意思为“等某人/物”；
也可跟复合宾语:
wait for sb. to do sth.，意思是“等某人做某事”。
