Practise 1.配音展示。把课文动画调到无声模式，学生给课文动画配音。2.Talk about the pictures.根据图片学生试着复述课文。3..I’m a guider. 请学生两人一组，向对方介绍自己最喜欢的一处景点或城市。试着抓住个地点最主要的特征，然后再向同伴讲述。鼓励学生根据图片进行更多描述，或是把自己对该事物的了解添加到描述中去，最后在全班以导游身份介绍该景点或城市。 通过这个游戏强化练习让学生能够比较熟练地用英语描述出祖国的大好河山或者自己家乡的景点。
Language points 1.strong /str??/ adj. 坚固的，强壮的 2.There be 句型的用法总结 There be + 物+地点。某地有某物。there be句型中，如果主语是几个并列的单词时，be 的形式要由与其离得最近的一个主语的单复数来决定，叫就近原则。 学生回忆there be句型的用法。 本课知识点较少，但是要注意此句型的延伸与拓展，使学生牢固掌握句型。

教学反思 在课文教学环节，我让学生整体感知课文后找出课本中有关there is和there are的句子。然后，我通过游戏让学生再次观察图片和句型的变化，加深学生对there be句型的感官认识；通过分步讲解there be句型的单、复数使用方法，引导学生积极的思考；最后，学生通过习题巩固难点。可以说，本课出现的时机恰当，有效解决教学难点。 教师可以再次深挖教材情境，让本课在情境中发挥更有效的作用。本课教学还可以用学生们的旅行见闻串联整个教学环节以唤起学生们对祖国大好河山的喜爱之情。
