本课为Module8的第一单元,对话是由詹姆斯老师亲眼所见的一起交通事故引起的。通过詹姆斯老师对事故的描述,对话自然地导入了过去进行时这一语法项目。

教学过程
Step 1 Look at the pictures and say what’s happening.
Look at the picture and use the words from the box to say what’s happening at that time.
Elicit descriptions and ask what they think happened.

本活动的目的是让学生通过描述图片中发生的事故熟悉本模块的话题,为后面的听力活动做准备。

Tell the Ss to read the sentences and discuss what the recording may be about in pairs.
