教材分析
本课为Module10的第二单元，课文以天气为主线，介绍了去美国旅游的最佳时间。课文从实际出发，选取了美国几个比较有名的旅游胜地，如纽约、新英格兰、西雅图等，介绍了不同地方适宜旅游的时间，并给出了相应的建议，实用性很强。

A tape recorder, multimedia and some pictures.

Step1 Lead-in.
Talk about what you can see in the pictures.
1. Ask the Ss to look at the pictures and elicit what they can see.
2. Put them in groups to describe each picture.
3. Elicit their descriptions and ask the class to guess which picture it is.

Step2 Reading.
1. Show some pictures about the weather of the cities and states in America.
2. Talk something about the weather of the cities and states.
