1. The students can use the comparative and superlative of the adj. to retell the passage in 3a.
2. Try to find necessary information through fast reading.

Step 1 Lead in
1. Free talk about China.
2. Show the pictures of the tops of China.
设计意图:通过freetalk复习前一课时所学最高级的知识,并且了解中国之最,培养学生的爱国主义热情。
Step 2. Presentation
1. Show the picture of Qomolangma, preview some new words.
2. Ask Students some basic questions about Qomolangma.
3. Watch a video about the weather conditions of Qomolangma.
设计意图:通过本环节给接下来的阅读做好铺垫并通过视频激起学生的学习兴趣。
