探究一: 完成教材Grammar Focus的任务
1．朗读Grammar Focus中的句子，在by studying，by reading，by listening下面画线，并说出它们分别代表什么句式和语法内容。并能造出相仿的句子。
How do you learn English? I learn by studying with a group.
Do you learn English by reading aloud? Yes, I do. It helps my pronunciation.
How can I read faster? You can read faster by reading word groups.
How can I improve my pronunciation? One way is by listening to tapes.
探究二： How 对方式提问及用by＋doing进行回答。
1. how 用来询问做事的方式或手段，意为 “怎样、如何”。
—How do you study for a test?
—I study by working with friends.
询问学习方法时，常使用
____________________________句型提问；回答常用by+ _______ 结构来表达，表示通过手段、方法而达到某种目的或某种结果。
2. by 的用法
by 介词, 表示“通过……方法或途径”, 译成“靠, 通过”, 后面可加名词、名词短语或v.-ing形式。可用来回答how引导的特殊疑问句。
1) —How do you study English?
—你怎样学习英语？
—I study by watching English movies.
—我通过看英文电影学英语。
另外, by作为介词的意义还有很多, 例如:
1) travel by air / land / sea 航空（陆路，航海）旅行
2) go by train / boat / bus 乘火车（船，公共汽车）去
3) shake sb. by the hand 和某人握手
4）在…...旁边，靠近
