探究一 1. It has the biggest screens. 它有最大的屏幕。
句中biggest 是big的最高级。形容词的最高级用于三者或三者以上的比较。 最高级的前面一般要加定冠词the, 后面可带of/in短语来说明比较的范围。
探究二 2. What’s the best clothes store in town？镇上最好的服装店是哪家？
【解读1】clothes是复数名词，没有单数形式，意为“服饰，衣服”，统指身上的各种服装，不能直接与数词连用。但可以和many, these, my 等词连用，做主语时，谓语用复数形式。
【拓展】cloth作不可数名词时，意为“布”；作可数名词时，意为“台布；桌布”。
clothing是不可数名词，是服装总称（包括帽子、鞋、袜等），没有复数形式。
【解读2】in town意为“在城镇里”
探究三 3. I think Miller’s is the best. 我认为米勒服装店是最好的。
句中Miller’s=Miller’s store(shop)。 表示家、店、室（home, shop/store, office）等所有的名称，常常省略中心词，仅保留前面的名词所有格。
