知识探究
动词不定式是由“不定式符号to+动词原形”构成的一种非谓语动词结构。有些动词不定式不带to。动词不定式可以作句子的主语、表语、宾语、定语、补语、状语或单独使用。不定式保留动词的某些特性,可以有自己的宾语、状语等。动词不定式和它后面的宾语、状语等一起构成短语,叫作不定式短语。
1动词不定式(短语)可以放在一些动词后面用作宾语,能以动词不定式作宾语的动词有:begin, start, want, forget, remember, show, learn, like, hate, love, ask等。例:
I want to tell you a story. 我想给你讲个故事。
They begin to work at eight every morning. 他们每天早晨8点开始工作。
Don’t forget to lock the door. 别忘了锁门。
Would you like to go and have a picnic with us tomorrow?
明天和我们一起去野餐好吗?
2如果and连接两个动词不定式,第二个动词不定式一般省“to”,例如:
1)He wants to go and have a swim with us.
他想和我们一起去游泳。
2)若作宾语的动词不定式(短语)很长,可用it作形式宾语。
I find it interesting to learn English with you.
我觉得和你一起学英语很有趣。
He found it hard to catch up with others.
他觉得赶上别人很困难。
3介词结构on...可用疑问词带to的不定式短语作宾语,但why后面的不定式不带to。如:
1) Could you please tell me where to park my car?
2) It gives advice on what to do in lots of different situations.
