surprise既可以做名词也可以做动词.
e.g. a surprise party
His words surprised me a lot. 他的话使我大吃一惊。
surprised，是形容词，表示“感到惊喜的、意外的”，在句中多作表语，厚街不定式或从句，其主语是人。E.g.I was surprised to see him here.在这里见到他我很意外。
surprising也是形容词，意为“令人惊喜的，使人意外的”形容事物本身的特性。我们可以通过记住下面这个句子来记住他们的区别：
We are surprised at his surprising success.
我们对他惊人的成功感到惊讶。
