This is the first lesson in this module. The listening material is information about staying at home alone. It’s a good text to help the students improve their listening strategies, such as getting information from the listening material.

Step I Warm-up
T: What would you do if your parents were out?
T gives some options (Lock the door well, Clean the room, Watch TV, Play games… ) Ss discuss and talk about what they can do at home.
