一、【教材分析】
1、课标:《义务教育英语课程标准(2011年版)》提到八年级结束时应达四级目标。四级目标中对读的要求是:“能连贯、流畅地朗读课文;能读懂说明文等应用文体的材料;能从简单的文章中找出有关信息,理解大意;能根据上下文猜测生词的意思;能理解并解释图表提供的信息;能理解简易读物中的事件发生顺序和人物行为;能读懂简单的个人信件;并能使用英汉词典等工具书帮助阅读理解;除教材外,课外阅读量应累计达到10万词以上。在学习中积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务;主动向老师或同学请教;对所学习内容能主动练习和实践;积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流。”所以在教学中要创造更多的学习任务让学生乐于交流。
2、教材的地位及作用
本单元的话题是谈论好玩的地方,使学生在此语境下继续学习现在完成时以及本单元的目标语言。
本节课为人教社出版的《Go for it!》八年级下册Unit 9 Section 2b,这一部分的话题则拓展到旅游景点,主要为阅读教学,文章向我们介绍了东南亚一个漂亮的岛国——新加坡。新加坡是个以旅游闻名的国家,素有“花园城市”的美称,它以干净优雅的环境、多样的饮食文化吸引着全世界旅游观光的人们。又因为那里有众多的华人,所以新加坡也成为中国游客的热门选择。本单元围绕阅读中有关新加坡的语言、食物、动物园、天气四个方面,开展多种教学活动,营造良好的语言学习情景。通过对文章的阅读使学生能快速的进行信息的识别、信息的转述及推理判断。本节课也是一堂读写课,能在老师的引导下,要求学生在对文章有一个大体掌握后,制作出思维导图并复述,渐渐地敢于开口表达自己,并学会用自己的话概括文章内容,从而能够运用文章中的好词好句介绍自己去过的地方。
3、教学目标(知识目标、能力目标、情感目标、学习策略目标)
知识目标:掌握重点句型Have you ever been to ...? It is a wonderful place to ...
能力目标:提高学生阅读文章,提炼文章主旨大意的能力,提高写作短文的能力。
情感目标:①通过多媒体教学使学生掌握如何去介绍具体的地点,增强学生对美好事物的追求和向往。②培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感。
确立教学目标的依据:
根据英语课程标准规定,通过听、说、读、写的训练,使学生获得英语基础知识和为交际初步运用英语的能力,激发学生的学习兴趣,为进一步学习打好初步的基础。此外,根据我国国情和外语教学大纲的要求,现阶段外语教学的素质教育主要包括思想素质教育、目的语素质教育、潜在外语能力的培养、非智力因素的培养等四方面。
4、教学重点与难点
教学重点:(1) 能够通过寻找关键词了解文章段落大意。
(2) 掌握阅读策略,能够复述文章,完成语言输出。
(3) 能够运用所学知识,介绍自己去过的某个地方。
教学难点:在教师的引导下,理解文章结构,寻找好词好句,从而使学生在自己的写作过程中能够注重结构,运用好词好句来丰富自己的文章。
二、【学情分析】
八年级的学生对英语学习的兴趣整体有所下降,而且两极分化比较严重。所以本学期应做好后进生的转化工作。教师应该面向全体学生,以学生的发展为宗旨,始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位,注意分层教学,引导学生端正学习态度,掌握良好的学习方法,培养学生良好的学习习惯。平时,我在教学中,时时注意课堂上表现最活跃的学生和进步的学生,尤其注意那些学困生,经常给予积极的鼓励。如采用在设置的每部分学习任务中给出评价方式,让学生自己对每部分学习任务的完成情况进行自我评价,将这种评价的方式贯穿于整个教学中,给学生带来了极大的吸引力和乐趣,激发他们主动地参与到教学活动中来。
虽然八年级的学生对英语学习的兴趣整体有所下降,但是对他们感兴趣且熟悉的话题,也会表现出浓厚的英语学习兴趣,而且旅游话题的选择让学生能够轻松面对。因此,在本堂课的教学过程中,在注重启发引导,培养学生阅读分析、概括能力的同时,更注重阅读教学方法的指导,通过任务型教学法、小组合作学习等方式,激发学生学习的兴趣,让学生乐于接受,易于接受。
三、【教学目标】
(一)知识与能力目标
1、知识目标:掌握重点句型Have you ever been to ...? It is a wonderful place to ...
2、能力目标:提高学生阅读文章,提炼文章主旨大意的能力,提高写作短文的能力。
(二)情感态度目标、文化意识、学习策略目标

Step 1 Warm-up (3 minutes)
1. Daily greeting.
2. Do?a?self-assessment.
First the teacher does?a?self-assessment. Then have each student do a self-assessment with his classmate each other. Next have a student do a self-assessment in front of the class. Finally have students write down their scores in Task 1.
【设计意图】营造活跃轻松的课前气氛,使学生带着积极的心态投入到学习中去,通过对让学生做的自评以及对Task 1中课堂自评,帮助学生理解每一环节中的课堂自评怎么做,并在完成每一个学习任务后对自己的完成情况及时做出课堂评价。
Step 2 Leading-in (2 minutes)
1. The teacher shows some pictures about Singapore.

2. Talk about the symbol of Singapore and its another name.

【设计意图】运用的是图片和情景对话导入,比较直观形象,能够在课前几分钟吸引学生注意力,激发学生兴趣,从而提高积极性。

五、教学反思:
泛读课从八年级下册开始出现,是初中教学中的重点和难点。学生普遍认为阅读课没意思、枯燥;教师也认为阅读课难上、低效,学生参与度不高。我认为阅读之所以出现这样的问题,与阅读课教学目标不清,教学设计不细致,课时安排不合理有关。为更好地让学生掌握,我把每一单元的这一部分分为两课时完成。
阅读课第一课时,既掌握字词短语,又理解内化课文,两者不能兼顾,但如果定位在“掌握文章大意,并能根据制作思维导图来复述课文,并能用自己的话概括文章内容”这一点上,会比较合理,符合学生的认知规律,并能促进学生对阅读课的学习兴趣。
从上课的情况以及课后的反馈看,本节课基本完成了教学任务,大多数学生都能参与其中,学习热情也比较高。从课上学生完成的学案来看,学生能够较好地在课前由小组长组织小组成员合作预习单词和课文,而且预习效果较好。另外本课要学生制作的思维导图中的内容是在课堂进行过程中逐步呈现的,最后让学生制作完成,符合学生的认知规律,大多数学生在小组内复述过程中能做到不看书,只看思维导图。全班大多数小组都能参与其中。
整节课学生在合作中较好的完成了任务,在任务中掌握了知识,提高了技能。说明学案中任务的设计较为有效。相对于传统的阅读课来说,基本实现了课前预习,课堂参与,课后扩展。这主要依靠学案的设计,任务设计以及小组合作这几个教学手段和每个任务完成后的自我评价。
