解读理念
在教师的引导下学会思考，学会分析，学会发现，学会表达，真正发挥学生的主体作用和教师的指导作用，做到全面提高学生的英语表达能力，通过师生、生生交流合作，取得良好效果，提高听说读写能力。
学情分析
学生个性和英语水平差异大，教学设计要有梯度，由浅入深，注意层次性。教师要抓住学生的心理，激发学生的学习兴趣，让他们在学习中学会参与，在参与中学会学习。
经过几年的英语学习，高一学生已经具备了初步的阅读理解能力，但是在阅读方法、阅读技巧和阅读策略的形成和运用方面还有待提高。高一英语阅读教学的主要任务是进一步帮助学生学会有效、高效地阅读。本节课通过引导学生练习不同的阅读方法，侧重训练学生获取信息、处理信息和整合信息的能力，整体把握语篇结构和理解主旨大意的能力，以及运有所学知识进行口头和书面交际的语用能力。同时，注重学生学习策略意识和能力的培养。
教材分析
内容标准
英语课程既具有工具性又 具有人文性特征，它对促进学生的人生发展具有重要意义，也对国家民族的发展具有重要意义。我们在高中阶段开设英语课程的目的，绝不仅仅是为了使学生掌握一门语言工 具，而是要使学生通过学习英语来“促进心智、情感、态度与价值观的发展和综合人文 素质的提高”。换言之，我们要使英语课程在促进高中学生的人格塑造、情感发展、价值观形成和综合素质的提高方面发挥积极的促进作用。以培养学生的“综合语言运用能力”为目标。高中新课标指出，高中英语课程的总 目标是使学生在义务教育阶段英语学习的基础上，进一步发展“综合语言运用能力”。所谓综合语言运用能力，是指外语学习不只是语言知识的学习，也不单是外语技能的掌 握，而是情感态度、语言知识、语言技能、学习策略和文化意识五个素养的整合发展。 正是这五种素养的有机结合与互相促进，使学生掌握了综合语言运用能力，从而达到人文性和工具性的双重目标。

通过本节课的学习, 认识Jane Goodall从事这项工作的重要性，唤起学生理解动物、尊重动物和保护动物的意识；使学生受到鞭策和鼓舞，培养学生（尤其是女学生）的自信心、事业心和社会责任感，建立正确的性别观和社会观。。
能力目标
① 学生学会快速阅读方法、培养独立阅读能力和合作学习能力。
② 培养学生的质疑意识，运用提问式教学，提高学生分析问题、解决问题的能力；充分利用多媒体技术。跟节日有关的讨论和口头作文。
知识目标
① 学生通过阅读Jane Goodall与她的同事们在非洲原始森林观察黑猩猩的一个片断，了解她在动物保护方面所付出的艰辛和所取得的成就。
② 使学生了解黑猩猩的生活习性以及与人类的相似之处，获取保护野生动物的知识。

阅读能力的培养和阅读技巧的训练，如快速阅读找出主旨大意和精读课文获取有关黑猩猩生活习性和Jane Goodall研究黑猩猩的过程、付出的艰辛和取得的成就等信息，培养学生的获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力。

方法解读
教学方法
1．演示法：运用相关图片显示给学生看，便于学生对微观知识和背景知识的把握，并从旧知识中获得启迪，从而达到解决问题的目的。
2．任务驱动（提问式）教学法：将所要学习的新知识隐含在一个或几个问题和小组活动之中，学生通过对所提的任务进行分析、讨论，并在老师的指导和帮助下找出解决问题的方法，最后通过任务的完成而实现对所学知识的意义建构。
3．多媒体辅助教学法：把有关黑猩猩和Jane Goodall的文本、图片、等信息融合在课件中，可以增加课堂信息量的输入，激发学生学习兴趣，提高教学效率。
