形容词的比较级和最高级
用法点睛
1．形容词用在系动词后、名词前。比较级表示两个事物间的比较， 句中一般有than。最高级表示三个或三个以上事物间的比较， 句中一般有“of＋名词”或“in＋范围”等短语。形容词的最高级要和定冠词the连用。
2．在比较级中，常有一些表示程度的词用在比较级前，常见的有：far, much, a lot, a little, even等。“比较级＋and＋比较级”意为“越来越……”，“the＋比较级， the＋比较级”意为“越……，越……”。
3．构成方法：
(1)单音节词一般在词尾加-er或-est。
(2)以不发音的字母e结尾的词， 在词尾加-r或-st。
(3)以一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节词， 先双写该辅音字母，再加-er或-est。
(4)以“辅音字母＋y”结尾的词， 先变y为i, 再加-er或-est。
(5)部分双音节词和多音节词，在前面加more或most。
(6)部分不规则变化的词需特殊记忆。常见的词有：
good/well—better—best
bad/ill—worse—worst
old—older/elder—oldest/eldest
many/much—more—most
little—less—least
