通知是指通知有关事项的文书。通常是上级对下级、单位对员工布置任务、安排工作、召开会议、传达信息等所使用的一种常见的应用文。
2.通知的形式
常见的通知形式有三种：
书信式，通过邮局寄发或由专人递送。
布告式，即将张贴在布告栏内或醒目处，或写在黑板上，多用于单位内部。
广播通知，多用于公共场所，如：车站、机场等，也可用于内部，应付紧急事件。3.通知的基本结构
1）标题：写法：Notice 或 Notice of?
位置： 在正文、内容的正上方
2）正文：传统写法开头空出四个字母位置的空格，直接顶头写也常见，根据内容需要，可采用一个自然段，或多个不等。
3）发布通知的单位/机构：一般在正文的右下角。
4）发布通知的日期：一般在正文的左下角。4.通知的语言特点

next Thursday so that we will make necessary arrangements.
