学生能够学会并应用新单词和短语：
was, were, young, then, grandparents, old, hair, so, long?,short
2.学生学会使用?“was/were”?来讨论过去的事情。
3.利用课件教学强化现在与过去的对比，组织学生小组合作，共同进步。
导学重难点
重点:正确运用人称和be动词，使其搭配正确。
难点：用过去式谈论过去的事情以及过去和现在的变化。
导学过程
一.自主学习
1）预习下列单词：
was, were, young, then, grandparents, old, hair, so, long?,short
2）我能读出下列句子并且知道如何应用这些句子。
I was short.
They were young then. Now they are old.
It was me. I was ten then.
Your hair was short.
You were so cute.
3）能够使用?“was/were”?来讨论过去的事情.
二.自主乐学、合作交流
1.预习listen point and say
A.小组跟读Listen point and say的录音，圈出里面表示过去的单词。
Is/am -was
B. 小组成员一起翻译课本句子意思，并且互相纠正错误的发音。
C. 听录音，指读句子，注意语音语调。
2.预习Listen point and find......
A.小组成员听录音，回答问题：
Who is that little girl?
How old was she then ?
B.学生听录音，画出里面的重点单词和句子，学生四人一组，互相讨论对话内容。
C.学生跟着录音，一起朗读句子，注意语音语调。
D.学生分角色表演对话内容，注意加上动作和表情。
活动一：单词游戏
全班分成两组，用PPT出示不同的单词，如果出现英语单词，那么学生快速的读出说出中文意思。如果出现中文意思，那么学生快速的说出英语单词，说地最快最对的小组加分。
活动二：Practice
学生两人一组，分别讨论课本的图片，用was/is, were/are说句子。
例句：
Her hair was short then.
Now her hair is long.
