Lead-in
Greet the students with our English slogan: What is worth doing is worth doing well. Let’s study English happily and make progress every day!
Play the movie clip of Tomorrowland and guid students to list amazing things in the movie, leading to the amazing things Li Qiang saw in his future tour (time capsule, hovering carriages, strange-looking house).
Greetings.
Watch the movie clip carefully and say out some amazing things in the movie.
Review Li Qiang’s first impressions in his future tour.

Li Qiang’s future tour hasn’t finished, let’s follow him to go on his visit to a space station.

Would you like to live and work in one space station or “Wonderland” on Mars? Why?
(Tips: Making notes of your ideas during a discussion is very useful if you are going to need them to write a report on the discussion. Remember to:
use numbers to organize your notes
use shortened forms to save time
write down content word(nouns,verbs,adjectives,…
use short phrases rather than complete sentences
This will help you to organize your ideas into a plan for writing.)
Use the knowledge learnt just now and discuss this question with group members, with the help of the tips for making notes.

Use all the information learnt in class to write a composition based on the discussion report.
