教材分析
本单元拟以fire贯穿个单元的学习主线,通过四个课时的学习，通过学习了解并描述火的好处、用途途：通过掌握核心结构?You?must和mustn’t来掌提在家里和森林的防火常识。再构的文本中，讲述的是在家中发现火情，惊慌失措，在聪明机智的?Feifei引导下，及时逃离现场，机智求事。通过复习并引号孩孩子子们们尝尝试使用after?that,?finally等小结?home?fire的求生技巧，迁移到?school?fire的情境中，让学生通过小组讨论，商讨逃生方案，巩固学生的语用输出。通过引导?fire?is?more?useful?than?water-或?water?is?more?useful?than?fire的论题，让学生进行辩论，进一步加深学生?natural?world?里这两种事物的认知。

教学过程
Step 1. Leading-in
T: The teacher illustrates the scene of the fire with multimedia and ask the students what they see.
Ss: The students looked at the pictures and answered the question. It’s fire.
Step 2. Presentation
T: Children, what do you know about fire safety? What mustn’t we do in the forest or at home?
Ss1: We mustn’t smoke in the forest.
Ss2: We mustn’t play near fires at home.
Ss3: We mustn’t play with matches at home.
The teacher displays fire safety signs with multimedia.
Step 3. Ask and answer
Two students to practice the target language:
What mustn’t we do…?
We mustn’t …
Step 4. Look and learn
The teacher shows pictures. The students look at the pictures and say the content of pictures.
Step 5. Read a story
The teacher leads the students to read the text. The students answer the questions.
Step 6. Make and say
The students make and say fire safety signs.
Step 7. Learn the sounds
The students learn the sounds of “th”.
Step 8. Homework
1. Read Student’s Book page 84
2. Read Student’s Book page 81 and make a new dialogue.
