Step 1. Lead-in

Do you know what Hollywood is famous for?
Step 2. Listen and read
Play the tape for students to listen and answer.
1. Listen and answer: Which one does Eddie want to wear, pink or blue? & Why?
2. Read and answer:
Why does Eddie think Hobo is lucky?
Does Hobo think so?
Why does Eddie think he should be in Hollywood?
Step 3. Presentation
What would you like to do in your spare time besides watching TV? Do you like watching films? What types of film do you like watching?
Do you know what types of films they are?
Show films such as cartoon, action films ,horror films and so on.
3. A guessing game
It's a kind of films using pictures or models instead of real people.(cartoon)
It's a kind of films about exciting or dangerous events, usually with fights.(action film)
It's a kind of films that makes people feel scared(horror film)
