教材分析
This is the fourth lesson of this module. The main topic is to know the means of transport and describe the way to travel.
教学目标
【知识目标】
Key vocabulary: bike, taxi, car, bus, thirty and so on.
Key sentence pattern: How do you go to school?

【能力目标】
通过孩子结合自己的生活经验和已学的英语知识,掌握本文重点词汇,会用句型:How do you go to school? I go to school by……等句型,合理的描述出行方式。
【情感目标】
通过对本课的学习,让学生懂得使用本课重点句式与同学们进行交流,教会学生有条理的出行方式。培养学生对身边环境的观察力,使学生养成注重观察细节,观察生活的情感态度。

教学过程
Step 1. Greetings and warm-up activities
1. Review the contents of the previous lesson: 让学生完成连线练习,复习street, turn left, turn right, go straight等。
2. 课文导入Lesson hook:交通工具有多种,乘车方式有多种,今天我们学习交通方式。
Step 2. New concept
1. How do you go to school?
(1) 教授新单词bike, taxi, car, bus
谈谈人们去各地的方式。
问:How did you get to school today?
What are some ways for us to get around?
What is your favourite way?
(2) 课件(或卡片)出示bike, taxi, car, bus,问:What’s this? 学生拼读,教师板书单词并大声读几遍。
(3) 分别出示第一部分四幅图,讨论:Where does Jenny go? How does she get there?
依次出示句子:I go to school by bike. I go to the zoo by taxi. I go to the restaurant by car. I go home by bus. 播放第一部分光盘录音,看书跟读。
Step 3. Discuss
询问学生:How do you go home?
How do you go to the restaurant?
Step 4. Numbers
(1) 板书数字1-20,按顺序读后,随机指数字,志愿者大声朗读。
板书数字 20-30,教师必须教学生读这些数字,然后播放录音,每个人大声说出数字。 重点指导单词thirty的读音,字母组合th和ir的读音,并指导学生书写记忆。
(2) 练习:Let’s count from 1—20 and count from 20—30
Step 5. Let’s Play.
Count by three. 让学生看书,解释游戏方法,大家围成一个大圈,第一个人说出three,下一个人要说出six,以此类推。

1. Copy the words and text of lesson 16.
2. Recite the text well and practice the words.
