一、教学目标
1.知识与能力目标
(1)能够听、说、读、写单词:train, subway,early, sometimes, often,usually.
(2)能够听说认读短语:by train,on?foot,by?taxi,by?bus,by?train,?by?plane,by?ship,by?subway.
(3)能够正确听说朗读“How do you come to school?”询问别人的出行方式,并能够用句子“I usually/often/sometimes come….进行回答,此外能够替换句中的关键词。

能够听说表演let us talk的内容,并在场景中进行交流和运用。
3. 情感态度和价值观
在对话交流中使学生养成用英语交流的良好习惯。
二、教学重点与难点
1. 教学重点
掌握四会单词与短语train, subway,early, sometimes, often,usually,by train,on?foot,by?taxi,by?bus,by?train,?by?plane,by?ship,by?subway.
2. 教学难点
学生能够灵活运用“how do you come to school?”询问别人的出行方式,并且能够正确回答出“I usually/often/sometimes come by….”.

四、教学过程
Step1:Warm-up
教师和学生一起用手打节奏并大声唱出第一单元的歌曲“Where is the hospital?”既可以让学生回顾第一单元的单词、短语、句子,又可以活跃课堂的学习气氛。
Step2:Review
复习第一单元的单词和短语:science, museum, post office, bookstore, cinema, hospital, turn left, turn right, go straight….
复习第一单元的主要句子:“Where is the science museum?” “It’s near the library.”“How can I get there?”“Turn fight at the school. Then go straight.”
Step3:Presentation
1. Show a part of a picture and let the students guess.
例如:可以根据图片引出单词subway.
2. listen and guess.
(1)播放小汽车的声音,让学生猜是什么交通工具,进而引出car(小汽车).
(2)出示一些图片、声音,加上语言描述让学生猜测单词。
通过观察图片以及声音,让学生试着猜测: “where are they?” and “what you can see in these pictures? ”
(3)让学生观察图片,展开合理想象并回答老师提出的问题。
(4)听录音,模仿朗读,记忆重要单词与短语。
(5)告诉学生应遵守交通规则。
3. 讲解by+交通工具的用法。
“By+交通工具”,by(乘坐…) 后面一定要直接加交通方式的单数形式,此外步行要用“on foot”表示。
4.学习let’s talk.
(1)听录音,然后回答对话后面的问题“How do Mike, Amy and Mrs. Smith come to school?”。
(2)跟读let us talk 内容,老师纠正发音,分析并讲解对话内容。
学会询问对方的出行方式——“How do you come( to)+地点?”意为“你怎么来…?”注意其中you 可以替换成其他的主语,如 she, he, they 等,相应的do 也需改变为合适的形式。
你可以回答“I usually/often/sometimes come+ 交通方式”,例如by car,但记住一定不要丢了by。By 后面一定要直接加交通方式的单数形式,此外步行要用“on foot”表示。
(3)详细讲解频度副词always/usually/often/sometimes/never这五个单词的区别以及用法。

sometimes:有时候
never: 从不
大致概率:Always(100%) > usually (80%)> often(60%) > sometimes(30%) > never(0)
For examples:
(1) I usually come to school on foot.
(2) I often come to school by bus.
(3) I sometimes come to school by bike.
5. Make a dialogue.
询问你身边的同学,了解他们的出行方式并按所讲对话编写一个对话。
For example:
S1: I always come to school on bus but I come to school on foot today. How do you come to school?
S2: I sometimes come on foot or by car.
Step4: Consolidation and extension

(2)教师事先准备一些打乱顺序的单词卡片,让学生读词后快速拼成正确的句子,或者填充句子,最后写出完整的句子。

Step5:Homework
(1)Listen and recite the dialogue(听读并复述对话).
(2) Finish the relevant workbook exercises(完成练习册后的相关习题).
(3) Make a new dialogue according to this lesson(按照课文,根据自己的实际情况编写一个对话).
