课题:牛津英语 六年级上 Unit 10 Air
一、学情分析
作为就读于六年级第一学期的学生,已经具备了一定程度的自主学习能力和一定的英语语用能力。在日常的交际情境中能听懂对话,交流信息;能阅读150字左右中等长度语篇;也具备了模仿范例,自主创编对话和5句长度左右的文段。在知识储备方面,学生掌握了常见自然科普以及描述空气环境等词汇;可以使用描述空气环境,表达原因和解决方法的句型;一般现在时等语法知识。在日常家庭生活,保护环境等话题上也积累了较为丰富的背景知识。此年龄段的孩子思维活跃,具有一定的审辨思维能力,乐于根据自身观点进行陈述。以上的知识储备和技能积累都为本单元的学习打下了基础。
二、教材分析
本单元属于Module 4中的第10单元,题材Air与孩子们的生活紧密相连。本单元也是继过去所学自然环境后,从环保的角度在生活中对学生进行指导。通过空气小诗以及对空气污染和环境治理的认识,使学生对空气污染和如何治理污染的认知。利用教材情景对话“Say and act”中的角色进行反面教育,同时达到了Reading for Fun和让学生独立思考、潜移默化的作用。此外,由于本单元题材生活化程度高的特点,我们引入了补充阅读内容“How to help the Earth”,通过语言学习拓展视野,促进学生社会化,培养学生核心素养以及一定的环保意识,对学生保护环境起到一定影响。
基于教材与学情,本单元以书中人物Kitty和Alice为主线,对教材内容进行整合和再构。通过将Kitty和Alice在学校要完成一份Air Report的实验探究,引入本单元的不同话题进行教学设计。
第一课时中,将Listen and Say, Make and say与现实学情相结合,整合为授课内容。根据我区“习本课堂”的理念,将学生课前、课中时间进行有机结合,以空气小诗为载体了解空气的特征和作用英语表达的学习。课堂上创设了Kitty和Alice在校进行实验研究,老师讲述“Air”的小诗帮助学习的情景。
在第一课时的情景推移下,第二课时以Kitty与Ben完成调查为情景,整合教材Say and act以及Look and learn部分,深化了第一课时的教学内容并进行延展。学生通过感知关于空气污染的情境对话,空气污染和环境治理的认识,通过听、说、读、演等方式操练并结合个人经历展开更深次的讨论。此外,通过阅读补充文段,感知空气污染造成的原因以及环境治理的可行办法,强化了It keeps的用法,并培养了学生爱护环境,并且培养绿色环保的意识,锻炼了学生结合自身实际生活解决问题的能力。
第三课时是前两课时补充。在前两课时的基础上,以环境污染作为切入点,了解环境污染的现状以及如何为净化空气献上自己的一份力。本课时是从第二课时环境污染缘由的调查报告出发,结合自身实际,为净化空气制作宣传海报,,培养学生的写作技巧,扩大学生的视野,引发学生对全球环境污染的思考以及提高绿色环保的意识,正视自然与人类之间的和谐关系。
本单元从以相关联的情景为线索,将故事教学,会话教学和书面表达有机串联,课中通过任务推进教学,让学生能更熟练地在日常生活中综合运用语言进行交流,提升自主创编能力,锻炼思维能力以及深化核心素养的培养。

第二课时以Kitty与Ben完成调查为情景,整合教材Say and act以及Look and learn部

学生在第一课时的学习后,已知空气的基本特征,基本掌握和使用核心词汇和句型。
在本节课中,创设调查周边环境的情境,以Kitty与Ben完成调查为情景,整合教材Say and act以及Look and learn部分,深化第一课时的教学内容并进行延展。学生通过感知关于空气污染的情境对话,空气污染和环境治理的认识,通过听、说、读、演等方式操练并结合个人经历展开更深次的讨论。通过阅读文段,感知空气污染造成的原因以及环境治理的可行办法,强化It keeps的用法,并培养学生爱护环境,绿色环保的意识,锻炼学生结合自身实际生活解决问题的能力。
本节课存在以下几点不足:1.对话操练的环节,学生带着课本找着念,没有起到ACT的特征,由此表明学生对文本不熟练,教师应当在学生表演之前多输入;2.学生在拓展的环节,被前面的图片所局限,思维没有打开,在此教师应当多引导。
