Step 1. Greetings and Singing an English song
1. Greeting
T: Good morning, boys and girls. Glad to meet you.
Step 2. Presentation
1. Let’s talk
T: Children, let’s look at the picture, what can you see?
(Courseware shows a picture of a birthday party. The main character is Coco. Through teacher’s guidance, let students think and gradually enter into this lesson.)
T: Yes, we can see Coco, our old friend. Today is Coco’s birthday. Let’s join her party, OK?
(This situation allows students to enter sentence patterns and vocabulary from birthday parties)
2. Let’s guess
