Step 1—warming-up
( Ss get some inspiration: look at the pictures and speak out what they want to say. And then T make a conclusion about some slogans about protecting wildlife
(Ss watch a video about Top 10 endangered animals to know more about them vividly.
( This step is to inspire Ss to get some idea about making a poster. Meanwhile, Ss get some visual shock to realize the necessity and importance of protecting wildlife.)
Step 2:
(Ss share reading materials in a group, and fill in Form 1(group work)
(write a short passage about Part 1 or Part 2 on Ss’ paper, just about 50 words (individual work)
(This step is to encourage Ss to communicate with others in English. And then reorganize their collected information to write a short passage.)
Step 3:
(Ss make an English poster (group work)
( a spokesman or spokeswoman give a short report about their eye-catching part of their poster
(This step is to show Ss’ cooperative skills, during which Ss should have good staffing and show out their wisdom and creation. Through group-work, besides knowing clearly about themselves, Ss can know more about others, which can raise their awareness of competition and feel some peer pressure. )
