教材分析
本单元的话题以日常活动展开。先以Part B中Let’s learn more部分为主,拓展学习如何运用频度副词描述日常活动:On ... morning, ... always get(s) up at ...后,在有效拓展练习本单元重点内容的基础上,完成检测。
教学目标

能灵活运用所学一般现在时进行描述一日常规,达到学以致用的目的。
能够准确、流利、熟练地朗读Part B Let’s learn more 部分短文,语音语调正确自然。
要求学生会说Part B Let’s play 部分的对话,加深对一般疑问句及It’s time to… 句型的理解。
通过复习Part B Read the words 中已学含有字母ay的单词,引导学生总结字母ay在单词中的常见读音规则,让学生初步感知音标知识,提高学生认读和记忆单词的能力。

课前准备
教师准备:
1. Let’s learn more部分涉及到的活动类词汇卡片和一个卡通时钟。
2. Let’s learn more部分的教学挂图及人物头饰。
3. Let’s learn more部分的音频或PPT课件。
教学过程
一.复习导入
用简单的英语描述自己的一天。教师引导学生说出自己所说英语的时态,导入本节课的短文,明确出示学习目标。
二.新授:
1. 新课展示 Part B Let’s learn more
(1) 教师通过对话,引导学生理解频度副词的含义和用法:
T: When do you get up, S1?
S1: I get up at...
T: Do you get up at... on Saturday, too?
S1: No. I get up at... on Saturday and Sunday.
T: Oh, I see. You usually get up at... But sometimes you get up at...
T: What about you, S2?
S2: I get up at...
T: How about the weekend?
S2: I get up at... on Saturday and Sunday, too. (引导学生说出)I get up at… every day.
T: I see. You always get up at…
板书频度副词:sometimes, usually, always.
(频度副词常用于一般现在时态中,用来表示某人的日常活动发生的频率。目前学生已经学过的频度副词有often经常, sometimes有时, usually通常, always总是,教师可引导学生准确理解并学习运用。)
(2)教师继续陈述,以加深学生对频度副词的理解。
T: What time do I get up,do you know? Let me tell you. I usually get up at six thirty, half past six. Sometimes I get up at seven thirty, half past seven. In my family, my grandma gets up at half past five every day. She always gets up very early.
(“half past +整点”是用来表示半点的又一种方式,如:10点半,我们既可以说ten thirty,也可以说half past ten。此外,我们还可以用“分钟+ past +小时”的方式表达半小时之内的时间,如:12点10分可以说 twelve ten,也可以说ten past twelve。)
(3) 教师让学生阅读课文,用PPT列出或引导学生在黑板写出Li Shan周六的活动:
6:30 gets up
brushes her teeth and washes her face
7:00 runs with her father
7:30 has breakfast
does her homework
9:00 watches TV
10:40 plays the violin for an hour
has lunch and has a rest

(4) 教师引领学生结合语境猜测新短语brush one's teeth的意思,同时借助词汇图片帮助学生理解。
(5) 引导学生两人一组就Li Shan的活动进行问答。
2. 巩固活动
(1) 教师让学生听录音、跟读课文,并画出语段中的频度副词和动词短语。
(2) 引领学生观察P4 Read again and finish the tasks部分第一个练习中的图片,让学生看图说短语并按照其发生的先后顺序给图片排序。

(3) 教师板书本节课重点句型:On Saturday morning, Li Shan always gets up at... Then she...让学生看图并结合P4 Read again and finish the tasks部分第二个练习中的文字提示尝试复述短文。其间,教师要注意确保学生语言的准确性。
