教材分析
本单元教学共分为2课时。本课是第1课时,本课时继续学习一般过去时态,以过去假期活动为话题,从会话过渡到篇章,进一步学习如何描述过去的假期活动。
教学目标
【知识与能力目标】
1. 学会使用 Last summer holiday, Su Nan… On the first day, …The next day, … The last day... 有条理地描述过去的假期活动。
2. 能在实际生活中运用一般过去时与他人谈论假期活动,做到语音自然、语言 流畅,达到学以致用的目的。
3. 能说唱Let’s chant部分的歌摇,且能通过说唱歌谣进一步复习巩固动词过去式及一般过去时态。

通过播放音频以及展示教学挂图进一步完成教学任务。

课前准备
教师准备:
1. 一些名胜古迹的图片。
2. Let’s learn more部分的教学挂图。
3. Let’s learn more及Let’s chant 部分音频。
教学过程
1. 新课导入
教师借助学生的旅游照片和学生进行日常口语练习,以下内容可供参考:
Did you go to ... last weekend?
Where did you go?
How did you go there?
What did you do?
Were you happy there?
教师在提问时,可以将句子的关键词写在黑板上,帮助学生回答。
2. Let’s learn more
(1) 教师向学生出示本部分教学挂图中的天安门广场图,引领学生进行问答,以下内容可供参考:
Where is it?
Did you go to Beijing last summer?
How did you go there?
What did you eat there?
What did you do there?
Who did you go with?
(2) 教师带领学生朗读课文,之后,再让学生自己读课文,并找出所给问题的答案。以下问题可供参考:
When did Su Nan go to Beijing? (Last summer holiday.)
How did they go there? (By train.)
How long did they stay? (For three days.)
What did they do on the first day? (They went to Tian’anmen Square.)
What did they do on the second day? (They visited the museum.)
Where did they go the last day? (They went to the Great Wall.)
Did they take photos there? (Yes. They took many photos.)
(3) 教师用课件展示或板书问题及答案,要求学生在课文中找出Last summer holiday, ... On the first day, ... The next day, ... The last day,...这些表达,并讲解这些表达的意思及用法。
教学小贴士
Last summer holiday, ... On the first day, …The next day,…The last day,...这些短语常用于对过去事件的描述,使用这样的短语会使描述过程很有条理,对每个时间所发生的事一目了然。类似的形式还有:Last time, ... At the beginning, ... Then ... At last,...等,教师可酌情进行介绍。

巩固活动
(1) 教师和学生做Simon says游戏,带领学生复习所学的动词词组,以下内容可供参考:

(2) 教师可以带领学生做动作,每个人做的动作可以不一样,然后教师发指令“Stop!”学生立正站好。教师随机和学生进行问答练习:
T: What did you do?
要求学生根据刚刚做过的动作作答,并提醒其注意动词过去式的正确使用。教师要及时表扬回答正确的学生,为他们树立学习的自信心。
Part B Look and talk
(1) 教师将所准备的本部分图片贴在黑板上,带领学生仔细观察图片,了解每幅图片中的信息。
(2) 教师任选一张图片,随机选出一名学生进行会话练习,会话可参考如下:
S1: Hi, Miss / Mr…!
T: Did you go out to play on your holiday?
S1: Yes, I did.
T: Where did you go on your holiday?
S1: I went to...
T: Who did you go with?
S1: I went with...
T: What did you do there?
S1: We...
T: Sounds great! Thank you for telling us.
(3) 教师可以要求同桌之间任选其中一幅图片进行会话练习。学生进行会话活动时,教师可在班里巡视,关注每一个学生的反应,及时解决活动过程中出现的问题。同时,注意对程度较低的学生多加鼓励,引导他们在小组活动中顺利完成任务。教师可要求学生注意会话内容的完整性,鼓励他们将会话成果在班内展示,并根据展示情况评出最佳语音奖。
Part B Let’s chant
(1) 教师出所准备的Let’s chant部分的图片,引导学生仔细观察图片并回答问题,以下问题可供参考:
Question 1: What’s in the picture?
Question 2: Was Bear / Bird 1 / 2 happy / sad?
Question 3: What did Bear / Bird 1 / 2 do?
Question 4: Would you like to be happy / sad?
(2) 本部分录音中Let’s chant分为“读歌词”部分和“说唱”部分,教师在学生回答提出的问题之后,可先让学生跟读歌词,理解这段chant的意思,并通过最后一个问题让学生有所思考。每天快乐地生活很重要,轻松愉悦的心态是快乐生活的保障,我们要爱自己、爱生活、做自己喜欢的事情,要让自己的每一天都过得精彩。
教学小贴士
one的用法
1. 作数词用,表示数字“一”或者“一个”;
2. 作形容词用,表示“同一的、一致的”;如:
One world, one dream.同一个世界,同一个梦想。
3. 作代词用:
(1) 泛指某种意义上的一个人或物;如:
One must believe in something.人一定要有信仰。
(2) 为了避免重复,用来代替上文提到过的某一个可数名词;如:
There are many flowers here. A yellow one, a pink one and a blue one.
这儿有许多花。一朵黄的、一朵粉的和一朵蓝的。
(3) 教师播放Let’s chant部分的内容,鼓励学生模仿磁带中的语音语调逐句跟读,看看谁是魔音小天王。
(4) 教师再次播放本部分歌谣,先让学生听歌谣,完整地欣赏一下。然后让学生跟唱。
(5) 教师安排学生分组说唱歌摇,并为其配上动作在班内表演。教师还可以鼓励学生替换关键词创编新歌谣。?
