Step one: warming up
1. Greeting
2. Review the words and sentence. (国家对应人物)
3. Make a chant.
Peter, Peter, I’m Peter.
I’m from England, How about you?
Jim, Jim, I’m Jim.
I’m from America. How about you?
Gao Wei, Gao Wei, I’m Gao Wei.
I’m from China, China, China, China!
Step two: Presentation
1. T: We have known Jim is Peter and Gao Wei’s new “friend”. Lead the students to learn the word “friend”. And introduce their friends. “This is my friend XX.”
2. T: I want to introduce my friends. Anna and Aisha. Do you like them?
Teach the new sentence “We are good friends.” Explain the Chinese meaning and write the sentence together.
3. Let’s take a travel. Teach “Singapore”, and make sentence” I’m from Singapore”, Chant: Singapore, Singapore, I’m from Singapore.
4. Show some pictures and introduce Singapore. Then let students say how they feel.
5. Let’s go ahead. “Let’s take a travel, go wo wo wo”. The second station, show a maple leaf and change to a flag. Teach Canada, Ca / na / da, and play a game “Big figure.”
6. Watch a video and introduce some famous places in Canada.
7. Let’s go to next station.-Welcome back to China!
Introduce two new friends. Make a We chat, answer the questions and teach “Where are you from?”
