Unit 1 Lesson 2 教学设计
一、教学目标:
1. 能听、说、读、书写单词:hello,hi, I am及句子I’m Bob. I’m eleven. 并能在真实环境中灵活运用。
2. 能听、说、读单词:Britain, Australia, New Zealand以及句子:I come from ... 能够运用所学语言进行交流。
3. 能观察、感知、学习字母b在单词中的位置和发音/b/,并注意学习其正确发音。
4. 通过学习国家的单词,让学生了解这些国家的文化、生活,拓宽国际视野。
5. 在小组合作学习中培养学生学习英语的兴趣以及合作意识。
二、学情分析:
经过前几年对英语的学习,五年级学生已经有了一定的学习英语的基础,而且他们喜欢活动、游戏,所以在本课中,我设计了以给SOS儿童村的孩子们送文具为主线,通过在课上完成task来赢取这些奖品,然后送爱心的活动,充分调动了他们学习英语的兴趣。
三、教学重难点:
重点:能够掌握本课的三、四会单词并能结合句型I’m ... I come from ...进行问答练习。
难点:能够运用新知,在真实环境中进行交流。
四、教学过程:
Step 1: warming up
1. T: Let’s sing the song “Hello, my friends.”
Ss: Sing the song.
设计意图:通过歌曲导入,创设轻松快乐的气氛。
Step 2: Presentation
1. T: Watch the pictures of the children from SOS children’s village. They are poor and pitiful. But they are happy, they are happy to smile. They study and live with their friends. A lot of people give their love to the children. Would you like to show your love to them? And here we have many school things. In our class, you are divided into four groups. You will have three tasks. If you do well, your group leaders will give you the school things, then give them to the children from SOS. Ss: (Watch pictures and listen to the teacher) Yes.
设计意图:通过图片引出本课主线:给SOS儿童村的孩子们送文具,这些文具要通过完成任务来获取(揭示出评价手段),这样大大激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
2. Task 1 countries-leaning
(1) T: Look at this boy, he’s our new friend. Let me talk with him. Hello, boy.
Ben: Hello friends.
T: What’s your name?
Ben: My name is Ben.
T: How old are you?
Ben: I’m ten.
T: Where do you come from?
Ben: Please guess. My name is Ben. This is the Big Ben. It is very famous around the world. And there is Edinburgh castle and London Bridge in my country.
S1: 英国
Ben: Yes, you’re right. My country is Britain.
T: Look at the flag, Can you describe it?
S2: Yes. 旗子上有一个米字。
T: Right, it has a “米”on the flag, so we can also say: it is a “米字旗” in Chinese.
Group 1: you are Britain Group.
T: Introduce the map of Britain
设计意图:通过人机对话,引出第一个国家,语言生动、活泼、有趣,学生兴趣很大。
(2) T: This is Betty. She’s eleven. Where is she from? Now look at the flag. The flag is similar to Britain’s flag, right? Where is the same?
S3: 旗子上也有一个米字。
T: Yes, it has a “米”on the flag. This country is the colony of Britain. Where is different?
S4: 旗子上有六颗白星星。
T: Yes, it has six white stars. Which country is this?
S5: 澳大利亚
T: Teach Australia (利用音标).
T: Introduce the map of Australia. Let’s watch the video about Australia.
设计意图:因为澳大利亚和英国的国旗有相似的地方(米字),所以通过国旗引入Australia的学习,不仅突破了难点,而且还能让学生记住他们国家之间的传统关系,了解国际文化,拓展国际视野。
(3) T: This is Bill. Now listen to him carefully ... (sound recording), then guess: Where is Bill from?
S6: 新西兰
T: Teach New Zealand.
T: Compare the flag

(4) T: Introduce the girl from China.

T: Introduce the map of China.
(5) T: I have some flags. Did you remember? Then, you can choose one, then form sentences.
Ss: Yes, say the country’s names. Say the words and form sentences.
设计意图:通过国旗来说出国家名字,巩固所学的国家单词,同时也能使学生将单词和相应的国旗进行匹配,对应。
(6) T: There are four maps on your desk. Please find your country, and write the country’s names.
Ss: Find the country’s map, and write names.
设计意图:让学生了解所学国家的地图。
Task 2 Group-learning
(1) There are some key sentences. Every group make a dialogue. Clear?
Ss: Make a dialogue and show.
设计意图:通过创编小对话,使学生巩固所学的重难点单词和句子。
Task 3 Chant-learning
(1) T: Listen to the sound, guess is it a boy or a girl?
Yes, it’s a boy. His name is Bob. Where is Bob from? (Look at the flag.)
S7: Bob is from Britain.
T: Teach other parts with the same way.
T: Find the words having “b”, then tell me the sound.
Ss: Find and say the sound /b/.
T: Read the chant, then chant with the flash.
Ss: Read and Chant.
设计意图:通过小孩子的笑声引出Bob及baby boy,然后一步步展开,最后将chant呈现出来,过程符合小学生的年龄特征,易于他们学习和理解。
Step 3: Show Time
1. T: You’re awesome. You got many school things. Let’s go into Show Time.

设计意图:将全班分成四个组,有合作,也有竞争,培养学生的合作与竞争意识,Show Time 对课堂及学生的要求很高,这种形式有利于培养小学生的综合运用能力。
2. T: look at the pictures. What do you think of it?
S8: We should help our friends, and love them.
设计意图:让学生明白,同学之间要互敬互爱,要互帮互助,因为我们是好朋友,因为我们是一家人,升华主题。
Homework:
1. Learn about the culture of the countries we have learned, then send to me on We chat.
2. Collect the things, then send packages to the children of SOS children’s village.
