Step 1 Greeting
T: Good morning.
Ss: Good morning.
Step 2 Presentation
T: This morning, Xi Yangyang and his friends go back to their school, would you like to go with them?
Ss: Yes.
T: Ok. Let’s go with them. But there are three doors in front of us, and you have to finish some tasks. Ok? Let’s go into the first door.
1. T: Look, this is Nancy’s new school. It is very beautiful and big. Can you introduce Nancy’s new school?
S: This is Nancy’s new school. There is / are... It’s / They’re on the...floor.
T: We know in this building, there are three floors. This is the first / second / third floor. In English, we call “one / two / three” cardinal numbers, we call “first / second / third” ordinal numbers. Can you match them?
S: one-first, two-second, three-third.
T: In this building, there are a lot of rooms, what are they?
S: art room, classroom, computer room, library, music room, table tennis room.(跟读单词,加强记忆)
T: These rooms are all in this building, and beside this room, there is a playground.
(学习新单词playground,通过单词play和ground理解并记忆单词。)
T: Now, let’s play an interesting game look, “repeat and act”.
S: ...(通过游戏进一步掌握并记忆单词,同时调动学生学习的兴趣。)
2. T: Now, let’s go into the second door. Just then, we talked about Nancy’s school, now let’s talk about Nancy’s classroom. This is a picture of Nancy’s classroom, let’s see what’s in Nancy’s classroom?
T: Is there a computer / TV in the classroom?
S: Yes, there is. / No. there isn’t.
T: Are there any desks in the classroom?
S: Yes, there are.
T: How many desks are there?
S: There are eight.
T: Talk with your desk-mates about Nancy’s classroom.
S: ...(操练句型Is there / Are there...? How many...?)
T: Here’re some sentences, read and find the rules.
S: How many 后面跟复数。
How many提问回答时复数用there are,单数用there is。
How many+东西+are there+地点?表示什么地方有什么?(引导学生学会观察和总结,自己去寻找规律,学生自己归纳的东西他们更易理解和记忆。)

There is / Are用于肯定句。
Is提问用is回答。
Are提问用are回答。
Some用于肯定句,any用于疑问句。
(there be的句型要正确明白肯定句和疑问句的使用方法,单数和复数的正确用。)
