T: Good afternoon, class.

1. Magic train
(1) Repair the train
T: Good job! Today she wants to look for the magic stone. Do you want to go with her? Ss: Yes.
T: OK. She has a map. Let’s look at it.（呈现地图）

(2) Summarize the rules

T: Well done. These two are called yes or no questions. We put the verb be at the beginning of the sentence. Pay attention here.（呈现规则，并强调some变any）

2. Magic farm
(1) Bring the animals’ home
T: Wow, a beautiful farm. Are there any animals on the farm?
Ss: No, there aren’t.
T: The animals run away. Can you bring them home? （呈现爱心提示）

(2) Summarize the rules
T: You did very well. Now pay attention to this word.
This is an ordinal number, we usually put “the” in front of it.
We call this the third / second / first floor.（引导学生输出序数词的表达）
T: Just now we used these sentences to talk about the animals.
Can you find some similarities?
Ss: 名词复数，how many, are there.
T: You are so careful. They are the Wh-questions of “There be” sentences.
We usually write them like this（呈现总结的句型）

3. Magic school

T: It’s in the third classroom, on the second floor.（引导学生说出序数词）

Ss: On the second floor.（板书It’s / They’re on the…floor.）
T: Let’s go and have a look.（楼层分布图，雨果的路径）

Ask different questions using Is / Are there… How many…in the classroom?
