5.人称代词he, she, it, they
(1)在英语中he, she, it, they 都是第三人称。he, she, it 是第三人称单数形式。he用来指代男性,she指代女性,it指代动植物以及无生命的事物。they则是he / she / it的复数形式。
如:He is a good kid. 他是一个好孩子。
She is a Chinese singer. 她是一名中国歌手。
It’s a clever dog. 它是一只聪明的狗。
They are my friends. 他们都是我的朋友。
(2)在英语的使用中,he / she有时也用来指代动物,这是一种拟人化的用法。而it也可指婴儿或不确定性别的人。
如:I like my little dog very much. He is my best friend.
我非常喜欢我的小狗。他是我最好的朋友。
