Are you feeling bored?
教学目标
(一)知识与技能:
1.词汇:能够听懂、说出、认读单词feel, sad, bored, angry, miss, ill, told, better以及短语of course not.
2.句型:能够听懂并会灵活运用句型:Are you feeling…?来询问他人的心情并进行回答;以及用“I am…. She / He is….”来表达自己或他人的心情。
(二)过程与方法:
1.通过各种情境创设真实语言环境学习词汇、句型,运用所学习的句型Are you feeling …?结构,询问他人的心情。
2.培养学生自主学习,合作学习的能力,及积极参加语言交流,用英语思维的能力。
(三)情感态度与价值观:
教育学生学会礼貌地询问他人的心情,培养学生体贴关爱他人的好习惯,并教育学生保持良好的情绪。
教学重难点
(一)教学重点:
1.重点词汇:feel, sad, bored, angry。
2.重点句型:Are you feeling …? 及回答Yes, I am. / No, I’m not.
(二)教学难点:
1.询问他人心情时人称的转换和准确地回答。
2.运用所学知识与他人交流自己的情绪和感受,以及用英语询问他人的情绪状况。
三、教法与学法
情景教学法、合作学习法、游戏法等。
四、教学准备
利用单词卡、PPT课件、电子白板及答题器、各种表情图片进行教学。
教学过程
Step 1: Warming up
1. Greetings. (师生之间进行简单的问候,让学生很快进入英语课堂状态)
T: Stand up, please. Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: …
T: Sit down, please. Let’s begin our class. Are you ready?
Ss: ….
2. Sing a song: If you are happy(通过唱歌这种学生喜欢的方式激发学生学习
的兴趣)
T: First, I divide you in four groups, Group1~Group4. Let’s come on together, “happy boys, happy girls, happy friends go go go.” Then sing a song “If you are happy”.
Step 2: Leading-in(谈话导入,自然、亲切营造了良好的英语学习氛围)
T: You sang very well. I am happy now .Are you happy now?
Ss: ….
T: I’m feeling happy. Are you feeling happy?
Ss:…
T: But we can’t always be happy in our life. Sometimes we are sad, or other feelings. Today we will talk about feeling, and learn Module 9 Unit 1 Are you feeling bored?(板书课题,领读两遍)
Step3: New teaching
活动一:学习单词:feel, bored, angry, sad
1.单词feel
T: Look at the word, read after me. (教师指着课题中的“feeling”). I have another word. Look! Who can read it? (教师出示feel 的单词卡片,并粘贴在黑板上,领读单词)
T: There is “are” in the sentence, so “feel” is added “ing”. Please pay attention to double “e”. They pronounce /i:/. Read again.
2.单词bored
T: Today we are feeling happy. But Daming isn’t happy. Let’s have a look. Daming is feeling….(课件呈现Daming 图片,出示“bored”单词卡片,粘贴在黑板上, 领读)
3.单词 angry
T: Look! This is a photo of Ms Smart. You can guess her feeling. She is feeling…. (呈现新单词angry,粘贴单词卡片, 练习单词读音)
4.单词 sad
T: Look at me.(教师做出伤心的表情,) I’m feeling …. Who can ask me my feeling? (引导学生运用Are you feeling…?句型询问他人情绪,呈现新单词sad, 粘贴单词卡片,练习单词读音)
T: Yes. / Yes, I am. If someone ask you “Are you feeling bored?”. You can answer Yes or No. Let’s have a try. (教师运用所学句型询问学生情绪,演示两组。)
5.T:We have learnt four words about feelings. Let’s play a game. Close your eyes, then draw the face in the ground. (在四个表示心情的形容词happy, sad, bored, angry,随意选择两个在下面画出对应的表情,闭眼睛完成。)
活动二:句型练习
1. T: Please make a dialogue with your partner according to your paint. One minute to practice, then show. (同桌运用所学句型互相询问彼此的心情)
2. Play a game.
T: Someone will ask you a question. You can stand up to answer and ask anyone that you want to ask as quickly as you can. Are you clear?
活动三:学习课文
1. T: We are feeling happy now. But our friend Lingling isn’t feeling happy. What’s the matter with her? Let’s find out the answer together. Please look at the flash of
Activity2.
1. 播放Activity2的动画,理解课文大意。
2. 再次播放录音,学生逐句跟读,注意模仿录音中的语音语调。(两遍)
3. T: Open your books on Page50. Listen, point and read after me. Ready?(教师领读课文)
4. T: Look at these four words. Read after me.(学习单词: miss, ill, told, better,课件呈现单词,注重运用学生已有的知识来帮助记忆新单词。)
5.自读课文,判断下列句子是否正确。(3分钟)
(1)Lingling is feeling bored. ( )
(2)Lingling isn’t feeling angry ( )
(3)Grandma is ill in hospital. ( )
(4)Grandma went home this afternoon. ( )
(5)Lingling is happy now. ( )
T: Have you finished? Stop here. Now, let’s find the answer together. (利用答题器抢答)
T: Why is Lingling feeling sad? Grandma was ill in hospital. But Linging is in London. She couldn’t visit her grandma. So she worried about her grandma. I think Linging loves grandma very much. I hope you can love your grandparents, parents just like they love you. OK? (通过所学知识对学生适时地进行品德教育)
5. T: Read Activity2 in groups. You can choose any way that you like. Then show your work. (小组内练习课文的朗读,然后展示。)
6. 朗读比赛:小组内朗读课文,比一比哪组读得流利、合作默契,随后表演出来吧。
活动四:Play a game
T: Choose a mask, and put it on your face, then you can be happy, bored, sad or angry and keep it until you answer “Yes, I am.”. Others will ask you “Are you feeling …?” (每组选出一名学生选择自己喜欢的人物面具戴好,做出一个表情并保持不变,其他学生问:Are you feeling …?,问对就摘掉面具回答:Yes, I am.否则继续询问。)
活动五:仿写Activity4
T: Look at Activity4, there are four persons. They have different feelings. You can choose anyone, then make a simple dialogue according to the example, and write down.
Step4: Summary
T: Close your books and put the paper on your books. What are you learnt? Look at the blackboard. Today we have learnt some words and some sentences. Let’s read again.(教师带领学生回顾本课时重点内容)
Step5 Homework
T: Look at today’s homework.
书写单词五遍加首译,Activity2抄写一遍并背诵。
2. 询问家人今天的心情,并记录下来。
3. 模仿P52-Activity4例句,组内说一说,并选择两个写下来。
T: The winner is Group…. Congratulations! Good, good, wonderful!
T: I think we have different feelings every day. Do you want to keep happiness? I will tell you a secret. Living with a smile, everything will be better. Please remember to smile. You will be a happy kid, I will be a happy teacher. So much today. Class is over. Goodbye, everyone!
