一、教学目标
1. 知识目标:
(1) 词汇:能听懂、会说、认读、会写新单词flower, tree, egg, bird, grass, sheep, these, those等。
(2) 句型:能用“What are these / those?”提问并用“These / Those are …”回答。
(3) 初步了解名词单复数概念。
2. 能力目标:
(1) 能用所学英语单词指认生活中的动植物。
(2) 能用句型What are these / those? 询问生活中的事物并正确回答。
3. 情感目标:
陶冶学生爱护花草树木、保护大自然、热爱大自然的情操。
二、教学重、难点
1. 重点:掌握新单词,用“What are these / those?”询问事物,并用“These / Those are …”回答。
2. 难点:名词单复数的变化及these和those的区别。
三、教学准备
单词卡片、教学图片、多媒体课件等。
四、教学过程:
Step1: Warming up
1. Greetings.
T: Good morning, everyone.
Ss: Good morning, Miss Huang.
T: Nice to meet you!
Ss: Nice to meet you, too!
2. Revision: Talk about the pictures.
(教师用课件出示上单元的单词图片,学生快速读出并回答问题。目的是通过复习学过的单词和句型,为导入新授课的单词和句型做准备。)
T: What’s this?
Ss: This is …
T: What’s that?
Ss: That is …
Step2: Presentation and drill.
1. New words
(1) 教师出示新单词对应事物的图片并提问。
T: What is this?
Ss: This is a (花朵).
T: Flower, a flower, this is a flower. (教师引导并帮助学生回答)
(2) 教师以同样的方式教授新单词egg, tree, sheep, grass等。
(3) 教师出示两只鸟的图片。
T: How many birds are there?
Ss: Two.
T: Good. Two birds.
(重点强调birds, 并操练a bird, two birds, three birds等。)
(4) 呈现一张花海的幻灯片。
T: Let’s see another picture. What can you see?
Ss: Flowers.
(引导学生发现名词复数形式加“s”,并强调读音)
(5) 出示绵羊图片。
T: Sheep, a sheep, two sheep. (引导学生找规律并强调)
T: What does sheep eat?
Ss: … (草)
T: Grass.
(6) 将单数单词和对应物图片呈现并带读,再讲所对应的复数和图片,加深学生对复数的理解。
(7) 利用图片学习these和those。
T: What are these?
Ss: These are birds.
(教师先示范然后学生分组操练)
(8) 分组比赛玩游戏。
(9) 利用“Let’s chant”操练句型。
2. The dialogue.
(1) 教师播放课文动画,学生听后回答问题;“孩子们在干什么?他们看到了什么?”
(2) 学生再听对话,划出较难读的单词和句子。
(3) 师生共同朗读对话并讲解重难点。
T: What does Mingming say in picture 2?
Ss: These are flowers.
T: How about Lingling?
(用鼠标指着绿色的鸟问:What are those? Can we shoot them?教育孩子们要保护动物)
T: Look at picture 4. How many eggs are there?
Ss: Two eggs.
T: Those are eggs, right?
Ss: Yes.
T: Are they hen’s eggs or bird’s eggs?
Ss: They are bird’s eggs.
(带读、解释名词所有格 birds’ eggs——鸟的蛋)
Step3: Practice
1. 分男女生熟读Let’s chant。
2. 小组合作熟读课文并表演,最后小组竞赛。
3. 对学生的表现进行评价,对表现得好的学生给予表扬和奖励。
Step4: Consolidation
1. 总结所学内容,强调爱护大自然,保护小动物。
2. Homework: Let’s draw.
