Unit3 第1课时教案
一、教学目标：
1. 知识目标：
巩固学过的单词elephant, tiger, monkey, bird, big, beautiful，学习新单词mouse, funny, strong, small。能理解、会说句子“Look at this …”&
“It’s …”。
2. 能力目标：
能准确表达动物类单词和描述性单词，能根据图片描述动物特征，并做出动作。
3. 情感目标：
培养学生爱护动物，珍惜生命的思想。
二、教学重点：
能准确运用形容词big, small, strong, funny, beautiful来描述动物。
三、教学难点：
运用所学形容词对动物进行描述，区别“this”和“that”。
四、教学思路：
本节课运用唱歌的形式打开了课堂，营造了轻松活跃的学习气氛，用图片激起了学生的学习兴趣，一个个的幻灯片让学生轻松学习动物单词和描述性形容词，最后用快乐的游戏结尾，强化了所学知识。
五、教学用具：
课件、动画、动物头饰等。
六、教学过程：
Step1: Warming up
1. Greetings.
2. Sing a song “Little tigers”.
3. Revisions: Let’s go to the zoo. And review the animal words we learnt before.
Step2: Presentation
1. T: What other animals can we see in the zoo? Now look at these pictures. What’s
these? Show pictures of “elephant monkey tiger bird and mouse”. Review these words
and learn some new words.
2. Read and practice these words and phrases, and do actions of the words.
3. Have a group PK.
4. After practicing with the whole class, ask some students to show their action and
say the sentence patterns one by one.
5. Play a game: “Sharp eyes” And have a group PK.
6. The teacher point to the pictures casually and students do actions and say the sentence.
7. Who wants to try?
8. Show the text on the screen. Ask one or two students to read the text for the class.
9. Missing words. And ask some students to have a try.
10. Ask the students to recite together.
Step3: Practice
1. Do some practice on the screen.
2. Play a game:“击鼓传花”
Choose an animal you like and act it out!
Step4: Consolidation
Animal is our friends. We should love and protect animals.
Step5: Homework
1. Recite Part A.
2. Copy the new words.
