那么要比较两个事物,就会用到形容词的比较级,形容词的原形叫原级。

(1)直接在词尾加?er。
eg:tall—taller short—shorter
(2)以不发音的字母e结尾的词直接在其后加?r。
eg:nice—nicer large—larger

(3)以重读闭音节结尾并且末尾只有一个辅音字母的,
应先双写该辅音字母再加?er。
eg:big—bigger hot—hotter
顺口溜:大(bigger) 胖(fatter) 子怕热(hotter),
苗条的(slimmer) 瘦(thinner) 子喜欢
潮湿(wetter) 和红色(redder)。

为 “i”,再加?er。

[辨析]loudly, loud与aloud
loudly 作副词,含有“喧闹”的意味。
loud 可以作形容词,意为“大声的”,也可以作副词,意为“响亮地;大声地”,作副词时和loudly同义。
aloud 只能作副词,强调为使人听见而发声,声音不一定很大
