本课是期中复习课,不仅是对Unit1人物特征描述和Unit2一周活动的综合复习,也是对学生综合语言运用能力的梯度提升。本课在开始热身部分通过游戏带领学生一起复习第一单元形容人物外貌类的单词,如:strict, kind,young... 在游戏之后让学生选择其中的词来形容教师,自然打开人物特征描述的话题,接着教师以自己今天visit哲商小学为例,迅速导入本课主人公Chen Jie is visiting willow primary school in the UK,情境的过渡学生一目了然;课文从Chen Jie遇到David,两人开始谈论任课老师,再接着到教室时遇到Dean and Jean,延续到favourite classes的话题。但本人觉得对复习课来说似乎意犹未尽,可以再结合第二单元B部分weekend 进一步丰富话轮的延续,于是把33页最后一题判断题当做课后作业,而把时间留给到周末活动的复习。最后在阅读语篇时进一步提升学生的阅读能力,也从中感知一些英国文化知识,如在英国人们周末不上班,很多商店也会关门等,同时以读促写,为最后仿写自己的周末生活做好铺垫。本课以听、说、读、写贯穿整个课堂,意在使学生得到综合语言能力的培养和全面发展。
