Step 1. Greeting
Saying good morning to students to make students pay attention to the class.
T: Good morning, everyone.
Ss: Good morning, teacher.
T: How are you today? I believe today is a happy day.
Ss: Yes, today is a good day.
T: Ok, let’s start to begin the class.
Step 2. Listening and vocabulary
1. Presenting the new words by showing the pictures.
展示图片给学生辨认，引出本课单词“classroom, library, gym, washroom, office”
2. Presenting the new structures by showing the pictures and making students understand them.
在本课单词的基础上引出本课重点句子Where is/are ….? She / They is /are ….
3. Making students play the game for practicing the key structures.
先给出地点图片引导学生利用今天所学内容进行对话。
例如：Where is the teacher? She is in the office.
4. Play the recording of this lesson’s vocabulary and text and ask the students to listen and check where those are.
5. Play it again and ask the students to check the words they hear.
6. Check the answers with the whole students.

Task: Which group is the best to read the text?
