对Pandas eat bamboo. 的运用和了解, 对eat, live, show这样的动词的简单了解和使用。

课前准备
Tape recorder, multimedia, cards.
教学过程
Step 1. Greeting and review
1. Greeting（How do you do? How do you feel today?）
2. Review the words and sentences by reading and communicating with their partners（Where does a ... live? A … lives in…）
Step 2. New concepts
1. Show pictures about the new words.
What is it？ Cow, horse, bamboo, grass…
2. Students read after teacher.
Step 3 . Presentation
1. Show pictures about animals’ food and animals.
2. Students match in Chinese.
Step 4. Practice
1. Show pictures to students to read.
2. Learn sentences “What do …eat?” “…eat...”
What do monkeys eat？
Monkeys eat banana.
What do tigers eat？
Tigers eat banana.
What do pandas eat？
Pandas eat bamboo.
What do bears eat？
Bears eat fish.
Step 5. Let’s play
1. Every student picks up a card.
2. Make sentences like this “I’m a ….I eat ….” in the group.
3. Every group chooses one student to match to read.
Step 6. Homework
1. Read after tape about P24 part2.
2. Copy and remember the new words.
