1. Analysis of the Students
The students of Grade5 have mastered certain vocabularies, expressions and structures. They also have the abilities of working in groups. Most of them are willing to express their opinions in English as well as act the dialogue out.
2. Analysis of Teaching Content
Lesson 21 is the third lesson in Unit 4, Book 9.This unit focus on the subject Did You Have a Nice Trip? Lesson 21 mainly talks about the gifts. Jenny and Danny are back from China, they bought some gifts for Mr. Wood and their classmates.

Step 1. Warm-up
Greeting:
T: Hello,everyone. How are you?
Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?
T: I`m fine , thanks. Nice to see you again.
Ss: Glad to see you again.
T: What would you like?
Ss: ... ... .
Sing the song.
Step 2. Presentation and practice
1.Learn the text.
(1) Enjoy the video. Let students say what you see.
(2) Look and say: teacher show the pictures of the conversation and let students say them out.
(3) Learn and practice the word bought.
(4) Read the conversation with the taple.
(5) Read it by yourselves for one minute.
2. Practice
Role play: Five people a group and then act it out.
Step 3. Consolidation
1. Retell the story: teacher show the pictures, and students talk in groups.
2. Report.
3. Finish the “Listen and match”. Teacher show the picture and read the conversation, then check the answers.
4. Finish the workbook.
Step 4. Summary
Choose a student to summarize the knowledge what we have learned.
Step 5. Homework
1. Recite the new words.
2. Introduce your last weekend and then write it down.
