教材分析
1. Analysis of the Students
The students of Grade5 have mastered certain vocabularies, expressions and structures. They also have the abilities of working in groups. Most of them are willing to express their opinions in English as well as act the dialogue out.
2. Analysis of Teaching Content
Lesson 22 is the fourth lesson in Unit 4, Book 9.This unit focus on the subject Did You Have a Nice Trip? Lesson 22 mainly talks about the pictures what they had a trip. Jenny and Danny are describe the pictures and the famous place.
教学目标
【知识目标】
To master the words: us, show, baby, happen, 和fall, break的过去式fell, broke
To master past tense of the words “fall” and “break”. They are fell and broke.
To master the sentence: This is … (名字)at / on the…(地点)。
【能力目标】
Improve the students’ ability of speaking, listening, reading and writing.
【情感目标】
Stimulate interest in learning English, and development of the students’ ability of using synthetic language.
【教学重点】
Students can master the sentences: This is … (名字)at / on the…(地点)。.
【教学难点】
Students can master past tense.
课前准备
Tape recorder, Multimedia
教学过程
Step 1. Warm-up
Greeting:
T: Hello,everyone. How are you?
Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?
T: I`m fine , thanks. Nice to see you again.
Ss: Glad to see you again.
T: What would you like?
Ss: ... ... .
Sing the song.
Step 2. Presentation and practice
1.Learn the text.
(1) Show Dora and Boots, let students introduce them. And show the sentence: They are Dora and Boots. They had a nice trip. They will show us their pictures. Then explain the meaning of “show us their pictures”. at last, student make the sentences with “show sb. (宾格) sth. ”.
(2) Show the picture of hotel, then show Dora and Boots at this hotel to elicit the sentence: This is Dora and Boots at the hotel. And students practice the sentence.
(3) Show the picture of The Great Wall, and introduce the picture with the sentence: This is … (名字)at / on the…(地点)in groups. Then show the sentence: This is Dora and Boots on the Great Wall. Show Dora and Boots, and let students guess how they get to the Great Wall.
(4) Show the picture of Dora and Boots in the train. Show the sentence: This is Dora and Boots on the train. Then show the baby and the sentences: They played with the baby. It was fun. Teacher explain the word “played” and the word “was”.
(5) Show the picture of The Palace Museum, then introduce it: This is Dora at the Palace Museum. Teacher says: do you know where Dora is. Then show the sentence: Boots fell. He broke his tail.
Teacher explain the past tense of the word “fell” and the word “broke”.
Listen to the tape, and point to the sentences.
Read the text with the tape.
Step 3. Consolidation
1. Let’s act. Four students a group.
2. Make new sentences:
Students show the pictures of their prepaired, and describe their photos with the sentence: this is __________(人名)on / at_____(地点).
3. Let’s do it. Find the rules. Write more sentences.
I walk to the park every day.
I walked to the zoo yesterday.
They live in Beijing.
They lived in Shanghai last year.
It is sunny today.
It was rainy yesterday.
Step 4. Summary
Choose a student to summarize the knowledge what we have learned.
Step 5. Homework
1. Recite the new words.
2. Finish the workbook.
