1. Analysis of the Students
The students of Grade5 have mastered certain vocabularies, expressions and structures. They also have the abilities of working in groups. Most of them are willing to express their opinions in English as well as act the dialogue out.
2. Analysis of Teaching Content
Lesson 14 is the second lesson in Unit 3, Book 9.This unit focus on the subject Writing Home, Lesson 14 mainly talks about writing the postcard for their family what they have gone and what happened on the trip. It asks students to master the words and sentences to express our mind. Meanwhile master the form of writing.

教学过程
Step 1. Warm-up
Greeting:
T: Hello,everyone. How are you?
Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?
T: I`m fine , thanks. Nice to see you again.
Ss: Glad to see you again.
T: What would you like?

Enjoy the song: listen the song what we are going to learn today.
Step 2. Presentation and practice
Lead in:
Teacher show a postcard, and show the words what Jenny say.
Learn the text.
Watch the video of the postcard. And answer the question.
What Tian’an men Square like in Danny’s mind?
Check the answer.
Show the postcard and explain the step of writing the postcard.
Explain the word “address”, “stamp”, “forget”.
Practice the word.
Write the word down twice.
Read the postcard with the tape.
Read by themselves.
Read in groups.
Finish “Let’s do it!”
Write the postcard according to the the point.
Report your postcard.
Step 3. Consolidation
Retell the step of writing the postcard.
Discuss in groups.
Report it.
Learn the song.
Read the song by yourselves.

写,最后还要加上逗点。寄信人不自称Mr.、Mrs.或Miss,但是在收信人的
